East Antrim League 2018

The East Antrim league as the name suggests is an interclub competition, which this year marks 71 years in existence, comprising of a team of 10 players of various handicaps with 12 clubs from the locality taking part.

The 12 clubs are split in two leagues, Tom McAlister section and The Jack Ross section, the winner of league one, plays the runner up of league two and vice versa, culminating in the final for the Jack Ross Trophy.

Matches are played on a Wednesday, teeing off at around 5PM.

Supper is usually provided by the host club.

This year we have three away matches City of Belfast, Cliftonville, Ballymena and two home Cairndhu, Hilton. 9th,16th,23th,29th May and the 6th June.

If you are willing to play please append your name, handicap and contact details to the sheet in the gents locker room.

It is a good forum to the introduction of competitive golf, albeit in a more relaxed format.

We will endeavour to give everyone who wants to play a match but ultimately, we want to win!

If you require any further information, please speak to Geoff Pearson or Brian McFarland.

Regards,

Brian McFarland
